Project Contributions
The contributions that I did for the project:
- Research on my own topic with more depth (mazda rotary engine)
- The team decided to focus more on the 737 MCAS, so conducted a research on MCAS.
- Created my own Google Docs research
- Created a team Google Docs research for team to throw in their research.
Updated on 1/11/24
- Prepared interview questions on google docs and checked with the team on what they think about it.
- Researched on google and google scholar why the Boeing 737 MCAS system is inadequate (focused on the AOA sensors)
- After the research, worked with the team to improve on the problem statements.
Updated 7/11/24
- Started on the report and wrote on one part of the proposed solutions(MEMS sensors).
- Using articles found on google on the benefits of MEMS sensors to be used in the report.
- Added more points to the introduction of the report.
- Prepared a script document to prepare for team's practice
Updated 14/11/24
- Improve on content for the presentation and decide with the team our presentation sub-topic.
- Added content onto Google slides
- Got different people to stand at corners of the classrooms to gauge how much louder my voice had to be
- Rehearsed our presentation in actual and virtually.
- Tried the 'ha voice projection' technique as recommended by some of my classmates
- Continued working on the report (created a benefits section)
Updated 21/11/24
- More work was done on the report with the group. Wrote on the MEMS sensor for solutions and the benefits section.
- Researched the specific benefits and characteristics of the MEMS and Magnetoresistive health sensors through manufacturer's websites and scholarly articles on 'aircraft health sensor improving performance'.
Updated on 25/11/24
- Shifted the benefits that are scattered around the report to the benefits section
- Created the transmittal letter using copilot and included prompts like incorporating 'mems sensors' and 'magnetoresistive sensors' into the AOA sensors.
- Updated the titles on the content page
- Added another evidence, an article on "how confidence affects pilots" to support an argument made in the report.
Updated on 30/11/24
- The team met again virtually and I checked the plagiarism and used Grammarly on the benefits section.
- Shifted the transmittal letters into a separate document for the scribe to submit.
